yea it seems too laggy. there is something funky that needs to be worked out.

it builds like 2lbs in 1st and when i hit 2nd it goes to 5 and the tires break loose. it seems like the most it'll boost is 5lbs.

this wastegate has a adjustment screw on the top and has two vacuum ports on it so maybe i have it hooked up wrong or something. jeff it going to stop by tomarrow and have a look at her with me.

the clutchs in the trans in the orange truck are toast and it wont even move foward anymore. reverse works though

leeann will be home in a couple mins and i'll take a picture of it.

yeah, 5 lbs seems kinda low even though its a t-70. 5 liters should be enough air to spool it up deciently. are you sure you dont have any boost leaks? im sure youve already checked.

yea it had very bad leakage on my first bov pipe, with the shitty chinese really thin pipe. so i yanked that off and used a real peice of exhaust pipe for it. and started welding it and had it pretty nice and half way through i ran out of wire. so i went to my neighbors who has a welder which is a gasless wirefeed but not a china tools one, and he is a worse welder than me. i told him to just layer that ****** and that i didnt care what it looked like and he sure did. i dont think its leaking but its probable. there is no way the t70 should be that laggy. there is definatly a leak somewhere, maybe the wastegate is not closing all the way or something it funky with that or there is a leak at on my exhaust clamp.

I primed the hell of out this ssauto turbo. pouring oil into it and spining it with my finger, for a while till it felt good and loose. and i think this is the key to making these turbos work. they cant spin PERIOD with no oil. not even ------- around having fun with it with your fingers while its on the mantel.

it keeps spinning for probably 10-15 seconds after i shut the car off.

i worked two nights ago in a ------- windy *** rainstorm and finally got tired of it and finished it yesteday morning in the rain laying on the wet driveway doing ----.

i think it turned out nice and i think i did a lot better job than my last "kit" even thought it worked pretty damn good and i had a lot of fun with it.

the one thing im kinda dissapointed about and that i didnt think turned out well in the turbo compressor is so close to the radiator.

here are some pictures.

***********
wow hahaaha, maybe i know why its not making much boost lmao... while i was downloading these pictures i saw the ------- blew off pipe... lol... that ****** is going to be a pain cause it blew the first time i boosted on the ****** too

my very cool and classy real LX taillights. much better than those homo GT taillights

sweet man

trans cooler

oil cooler

wooo 5.0 mustang

nice welder there neighbor

stock fan and shroud and griffin aluminum raidator = NEVER OVERHEATS

this may also be a part of the problem, the head of the bolt for that one didnt fit... it hit the pipe so i have to go to the store tomarrow and get a smaller bolt. it'll look off but oh well (stores are closed on sunday)
also the vacuum line is supposed to go on the side port but i was trying it both ways to see if it made a difference

dirty engine bay.
i have some new plug wires and a vband flange and clamp on order

remind me to superglue that **** back on.

"my neighbors love me"

the turbo bike which needs about 200 bucks and it'll be on the road
needs fuel pump for sure, needs battery and new tires, might need new carbs.

the toy corner of course. 350x go kart and blaster, and other go kart frame

Did you check the fluid level? Pans seaps so when it got low it would lag going into gear. That sucks sorry dude never gave me a problem.
Glad to see it almost done better get the turbo truck rolling again so we can actually go line em up.

Nice Workshop!!!

So no DP yet? That looks like it may be fun.

Oh wait you said it Exit out the in front of the wheel, Let's See it.
I would love to start a V8 project for the hell of it, but 5.0s are way overrated in stock for around here, thus they cost 15x more then they should!!!
