Default Turbo

Hey, I got a question and someone reffered me to this site. How much approx do you think it would cost for a turbo for a Nissan 240sx? (Approx, because I do not know what year since I have not yet bought the vehicle) And how hard is it to install it all your self? Like is it something an average person could do or do you need to have some kind of mechanical background or no how to weld ect ect. Thanks, Tyler.

If you have to ask all that, you aren't ready.

Save yourself paying labor for a shop to do it once you hate the car too much to do it yourself... buy a turbo swapped 240...

Yes, I know, I do not even have the car yet, I am just trying to learn about everything at the moment.

If you want to learn, start reading the stickies. There is enough info there for you to read for several weeks. You will learn much.

+1 doing is a great way of learning. On top of the info on this site, get the book "Maximum Boost" by Corky Bell. It is a must read for any and all turbo fans!

Best quote ever from 'Maximum Boost' : "A turbo is not the icing on the cake ... a turbo is just more cake." :-D
