Re: TUNER TOYS in latest issue of Turbo magazine
pics? turbo is a sick magazine, hardly any pages to it tho. if it was the size of SS thatd be nice
|
Re: TUNER TOYS in latest issue of Turbo magazine
Is the thickness because less ads or less content?
|
Re: TUNER TOYS in latest issue of Turbo magazine
I still like HCI, lots of testing done after they instal parts.

Congrats Craig, nice to see some HMT representation in the mainstream media |
Re: TUNER TOYS in latest issue of Turbo magazine
Congrats Craig. I still won't pay a dime for any of those stupid magazines. Even for a dime, they're all a let down.

Re: TUNER TOYS in latest issue of Turbo magazine
somtimes i read GRM, and maybe sport compact car once in a while, but import tuner and stupid street annoy me to death. I think HT has gone downhill also.

Re: TUNER TOYS in latest issue of Turbo magazine
Thanks Everyone!
I haven't checked it out yet. Need to subscribe, or at least pick up a copy. Is it the polished aluminum one or the new black ones? We did a Stealthmode version, in black with gray logos, pretty solid. One of the editors hit us up for something a while back, and we sent him a grab bag full of our unique items, guess he liked the vac manifold. Cool stuff, Craig |
Re: TUNER TOYS in latest issue of Turbo magazine
i will only buy DSport.... the rest just get a quick look threw, havent been worth the money for a while... :3

I got tired of reading the magazine of the black skyline, part reviews in the form of sales pitches from the manufacturer, gook models only, and showcased cars of the editors. |

But yeah, way too much JDM. |
Re: TUNER TOYS in latest issue of Turbo magazine
it is the black one craig. it looks nice but they put the pic at a weird angle so it is kinda upsidedown...
turbo is starting to go the way of the other mags, they seem to go through phases, where they feature nothing but jdm cars in japan, then they feature nothing but dsm's, then they feature nothing but 350z's, then they feature nothing but puto cars. i like when they do the tech/new product stuff. the have some pretty good articles on new things in the import market before they get popular... like the synapse wg's etc. they also occassionally do a nice article on how to. they did one on the budget f20c to f24 stroker kit. the tech editor aaron bonk seems to know his ----. |
Re: TUNER TOYS in latest issue of Turbo magazine
Good job Craig :D
|
Re: TUNER TOYS in latest issue of Turbo magazine
I'm so sick of seeing sylvias and corollas in magazines. And the hot new 350z's with the same mods as every other 350z in a magazine... big whoop.

Re: TUNER TOYS in latest issue of Turbo magazine
All those magazines, like Turbo, SS, HT, Dsport, HCI are all made by lie 2 different magazine companies.
I like turbo he best. Seems to have the most amount of actual information in it. |
