Why don't you guys try guessing by pm instead of ------- with the man's business? I mean he already said he didn't feel comfortable revealing who it was as it's a cut-throught business and he doesn't have anythign signed.

Was Kooks the first to do the Ramhorn? I've heard the story a few times from the guys out here about the first company to do them, I just don't remember who.

First time I encountered Geoff, he was welding up log manifolds for Curtis at MaxRev. I was talking with Curtis about something, and just kinda dismissed him as some kid welding manifolds. Gotta give him credit for getting where he is today, in such a short amount of time.

The national enquirerer just called me and asked if I'd do an interview with my opinion on who makes tunertoys manifolds. I told them I wasn't a nobody honda kid who thought people would be impressed if I was right, so I declined.

Dumb *******.

According to Geoff, they copied an AT-whatsis manifold that was brought to them to copy. Then they started making them for 2.3T Fords, a couple Honduhs, etc. Not being acquainted with any of those people, and never having been west of Birmingham, I have to say I'm only as good as what I've been told. It was kind of a shining moment for me with Geoff, he came down off his high horse and stopped claiming he invented the merge collector and/or using plumbing bends to make turbo manifolds and/or ram horns when he said that.

No, let us credit his parents for bankrolling him, and AZ State for letting him run a business out of their machine shop until he acquired the capital to buy his own equipment.

I had a big long rant typed up that has no place in your thread, which I removed before I hit "post", but I did PM it to you so you can have a chuckle at his/my expense.
