Default Tuner Toys finally enters the turbo manifold arena...

Cliff Notes at the end...

Several times in the past, you guys have seen me rant about the turbo manifold situation in the Honda world. How many manifold companies have come and gone just here on HMT alone? It's a standard progression. Dude makes a manifold. Shows it on HMT. Folks ask him to make one for them. He decides he could make some money. Starts a business. Sells manifolds super cheap because he is just starting out. Ships a few. Everyone is happy. More orders pour in. Dude starts getting behind. People start getting their stuff late. Bitching begins. Dude quits answering emails. Stops shipping. People start flaming and call-a-thons. Dude tells everyone off, and either refunds money or runs off with it. Business is closed, people are screwed. Manifolds begin cracking.

We've all seen it. Maybe the story was a little different for each company, but we've seen a group of them come and go.

Tuner Toys has been around for a long time now. We're established as a business with solid customer service and good products. We were the first company to donate to HMT. In fact we were the first donation ever to HMT. HMT is our home.

We've been wanting to get into the manifold business for some time now, but we don't want to manufacture them ourselves. (Basically, I don't want to have myself be the manufacturer. I'm not that fond of welding hour upon hour. And Mrs. TunerToys doesn't weld...yet.) So we talked to companies about making manifolds for us, of our design, with our name. We talked to Stealthmode's guy in Tuscon, we talked to Ken at PeakBoost, We talked to Full Race, we talked to guys from SEMA, and we talked to companies here on HMT. It took us two years to find the guys we wanted to make manifolds for us. They have been making manifolds for years, and we like their work, so we hired them to make manifolds for us.

Our goal is to offer a quality product, that any of you guys would be proud to own. We're not shooting for the cheapest, and we're not shooting for the most expensive in the market. We shooting for the standard TT solution, a quality product at a reasonable price. Our manifolds will never be as inexpensive as the hobbyist working out of his garage, we just can't compete with that. However, six months from now, when that guys has closed up shop, we'll still be here, and our customer service will be just as solid as it has been for the last six years. We'll be there to take your call and service your needs as we always have.

The manifolds we are selling are excellent units by any standards. We're offering Full Rams and Short Rams, for T3 turbos only. All are manufactured with Schdedule 40 Stainless Steel, and 1/2" Thick Head and Turbo Flanges. All are externally wastegated, and the flange is 3/8" mild. All are backpurged, and welded with multiple passes. They are easilly compared to PeakBoost or Full Race (minus the robotic welds). And they are certainly as good as the best hobbyist's manifolds.

We are doing it differently in one particular way. Our manifolds are "IN STOCK". That's right, if you see it listed in our store, that means that it is already built, on our shelf, and ready to ship. We don't take orders, we ship purchases. NO waiting for it to be built, you pay, we ship the next business day (same day sometmes). It's the "NO BULLSHIT" way to sell manifolds. We like it. We think you will too.

So here is the deal. Short Rams will sell for $419, and for HMT members include a $50 credit towards any Garrett Turbocharger. The short rams have a super short collector, to reduce the flow issues on the drain lines. We have 3 of the D15/D16 w/T3 flanges in stock, and one B series. Here is a pic...

The Full Rams are $549 and also include the $50 credit towards any Garrett Turbocharger. We have 3 of the B series in stock, and one of the D series. Here is a pic of the full ram...

Gratuitous weld quality shots...

These are not in our online store yet. We wanted to give you guys a first shot at these. We would have done it Friday, but HMT was down. Hit us with an email if you want to place an order. Sales@TunerToys.com

Cliff Notes - TT is selling kick *** manifolds in a no bullshit manner. Purchase yours now, and it ships tomorrow. No waiting.

Thanks guys!

Craig

Quality looks ****

Ever fitted one to a car? The short ram wastegate looks like it might stick way the ---- out there, chance they would be made with an elbow on the wastegate to the passenger side?

Will you be making topmounts in the future? Either way, I'm sure one of your units will end up on the shuttle, just because tunertoys makes ---- happen.

Renr, in America we simply respect him for telling us he doesn't make them. As long as the customer service, product, and warranty say Tuner Toys, it doesn't matter if you bought a half eaten cheeseburger from the guy. Meanwhile, I've PM'd you my suppliers of oil lines.........ahhahaha, NOT.

haha, it doesn't matter who makes them. You know TT will have your back just like he has in the past.

If the teg project ever gets going (hooked on the CRX atm) then I will definitely get one from TT. Look great and can't wait to hear people's experiences.

i knew you were going to chime in on that, always defending the circle of trust. theirs nothing wrong with asking a question everyone wants to know. same thing as if he would sell Garrett turbos under a TT name brand. he tells us up front they are garrett turbos,Y? because of their rep. why cant he say who makes the mani's? if peeps are going to drop that kinda dough on a mani, they want to know who makes it, not just take their word for it. it has nothing to do with tt rep, everyone knows hes a good guy.
