I would like to bend some straight 2.5in. piping(mild steel or what not) to make my charge piping as well as exhaust. I'd like to make it similiar to a Mandrel Bender, in the way that i want nice smooth bends and not those stupid wrinkle bends like you'll find on the AutoZone exhaust pipe bend's. I'm trying to find the Radius Bender Die's as they are called, that you wrap the pipe around, as well as the pieces that bend the ends around the center die. I can make the whole rest of the contraption myself but if anyone know's where i can get these pieces and die, let me know.... and for cheap, this is HMT not spoiled rich kid's. I've been checking Ebay but haven't found anything......

dude. no even worth trying. your alot better off buying a harbor frieght pipe bender. its simple.. you jack up the jack. bends the pipe and your good to go..

you cant make anything near a mandrel bender...
that ---- is pneumatic. and no way in hell can you do that

this guy tried and he had a sweet setup.. but it just doesnt work

the dies alone would prolly go for that much.

just go into your local exhaust shop on a not so busy day. or have premesured ----. theyll do it all in under an hour

hey tubing is different than pipie look here good stuff cheap http://www.pro-tools.com/ blah larn stuff you can copy a design but you need the dies unless you have access to machine tools

will the ahrbor feright tool not work for making bends and not having them crushed? will it crush them?

harbor friehgt bender press bends the pipe, it leaved a indentation but not crushed.

i have one.,.
