the carbs drip gas out when they're at this angle. not too big of a deal.

well we finished it and you guys should see the new wheelie vid!!!

........actually Johnny lost one of the original carb manifolds :1 the carbs have to be pointed too far up to use the ones he made, so we ordered a new one off ebay for five bucks. The frame modification should be done by the time he gets that manifold, so hopefully one night this week it will run again!

I just bought a 1993 seca II xj600 motor too. Im going to be installing it into my 95 yamaha blaster. Cant Wait to start the project . Its going to be a big HP differents 14 hp to the new 61 hp. I think im going to have a carb problem too. Random Strike how did you fix it from being on such a angle. Also what are you using for gas tank and fuel pump?

you can either buy some side draft carbs that came on a different yamaha, like the xj650, or xj550 (80s cruiser bikes) and use those. or you can still use the top draft carbs that came on the xj600 but the frame will probably have to be modified.

i have to widen the top part of the frame on my tri-z similar to how the xj600 motorcycle frame is to fit the carbs in the up angled position.

i'll get some pictures and vide tonight, the manifold i needed came yesterday so i can start it up and maybe put the chain on and move it around under its own power.

Nice work dood. I used to have a 4wheel Tri-Z via the old school 3-4 wheeler conversion. Bought it from a guy who was a team owner of a ---- ton of TT flat track bikes. Mine was built and ridden by scott Riggs in the late 80s. I loved the 2 stroke but, i'm also in the process of doin a Yamaha 600 motor, not nearly as good looking as yours though!
