Re: tri-z 250 project... 4 stroke power????
i got it started yesterday. open header at about 9:45pm lol
im not sure if its going to run how the carbs are. they're designed to be angled vertically and its very hard to start, but it seems to run ok after it gets started. might also have the fuel pump too far away from the carbs, making it really hard to get gas up to the carbs. i'll try a couple things and see if it doesn't make it any better. but i might have to buy a set of carbs off an older xj650 that are horizontal |
Re: tri-z 250 project... 4 stroke power????
well, i think i'm going to have to modified the top part of the frame so the carbs sit in their usual upright position.
the carbs drip gas out when they're at this angle. not too big of a deal. hopefully i can get it right and ride it this weekend :oldman: 1985 Tri-z 250 + XJ600 motor[br]http://www.dragcityvideos.com/Videos...4549183F6E.jpg |
