I was tuning my ls/vtec for 16 psi on uberdata & sc61. we switched from stock gsr cams to some skunk 2 stage ones that my boy use in his car but did not have any luck because of the excessive overlap, but they worked great in my car. anyway we did a few 8600rpm pulls because thats where I set my rev limit to tune the cams, did the last 8600rpm pull to confirm the changes were good, but while looking down on the computer I missed the shift light in 4th gear and hit rev limiter, quickly shifts to 5th because I was at about 130mph , then when I start slowing down I heard and feel a clunking noise, pull over and oil is pouring from my transmission, at first I was like damn, I broke an axle in 4th gear, but I jacked the car up and checked it out , turned out the tranny is fucked inside, and building up pressure, and blowing out the oil. I drove home about 80miles on it at 100mph, with that clunking feeling, and bearings rolling around in the tranny. I will tear into it tomarow, to see what up. hope its the lsd, because I have a few stock diffs that I can use for the time being. its an OBX lsd. and its 5 days before my first race. I am pissed

last night my boy and I were on the autobahn, comming back from the club with 2 chicken chicken, he driving his, and me driving mine, with these chickens that just keep talking bout the fast and the furious, and wanna know everything about the car and the wideband display what it does and hight boost switch etc. we were just ------- up everything including mercedes, and those are some high speed cars.. soo she keep blabbing about f&f. so I flipped the switch. car went wild on 20 psi at 165 mph. man that ---- felt good. we do this on the daily though.

whats your definition of good?
mine is tokico shocks, tenzo springs, tie bars and strut bars all around, traction bars, lsd etc. car so low it hurts, we've been in Germany since 98, and we always drive this fast. car feels good hugged the road, no lost of control or anything, the faster we go the better it handles take corners at full speed and waste gas .

if you redline your car at 8600 i bet you can hit 165. i figured my transmission on my b16 y80? (i think) redlined to 8200 would go about 160. most i ever got it to was 140 because its at like 7000 in 5th gear. and thats how i finished off my ringlands(it was already cracked). and theres so many transmissions for the bseries you never know how fast it *could* go up to. depends if you got enough power and your cars not going to fly off the road. i use to always go 130 with my stock engine. not sure how good 165 would be on your engine . would like to hear how fast others have got there honda up to?

I had my old CRX at 130mph topped out in fifth gear. That was with a SOHC ZC witha couple of bolt-ons and the ZC tranny
