Transferring title?

When I went for my title the mexicano signed it for buyer and i signed and fille dout all the seller part, but it was not done infront of a notary or whatever. I took the title to the notary here once I got home, [long while away] and she said that couldn't be done because I have no proof how much I paid , and because the thing wasn't done infront of here . What the hell should I do know? Shes a ding bat way out in no mans land , should I try a new one?

sure it never hurts to have extra stuff. The dmv makes you fell like a dumby so the next time you go in your in and out.

why do you need it notarized? go to the dmv and tell them you want to do a transfer and give them your paperwork

Re: Transferring title?

I got a question. Say I buy a car and get the bill of sale and the ownership signed over to me. Now say I decide to sell the car because I dont plan on doing anything with it and I know I can make money off it. Do I need to register the car in my name first and then give a new bill of sale to the next owner and sign the ownership over to him, or can I just give him all the ownership and a new bill of sale with a new price
