I found this Y8 tranny for cheap and I want to make sure it is the Y8 tranny, could someone tell me the tranny code? Thanks.

It will also have PA4/B000 stamped somewhere on the housing. I know because I just bought one and installed it in my car.

 

I bought it! Indestructible shifting forks here I come, anyway, I was wondering also if the Y8 tranny's gears were as close as the Z6 tranny's? I have seen people lose .6 seconds on their quarter from swapping out the DX tranny and wondering if the same results can be achieved with the Y8. Pat, you could probably answer this quick.
