refill with honda MTF and when it starts doing the same with that then hit up GM and after that throw the damn tranny away, if its for a D series.

Good synchros will work with no friction modifier, just some clean oil of the correct weight. When you are shifting gears, the synchro should never really make contact, just kinda make a film of oil act like a plain bearing and speed up the next gear to match the shaft speed. If the oil is allowing actual grip and a loss of shear ability, your synchros will make contact, tear to ----, and if you ---- 'em up too bad, get stuck together and unable to shift out of gear.

almost 60% of 88-91 trannies i know of the bearings have gone for ---- in them. dont worrry about it keep driving it wont break. i have driven on my loud *** bearings for like 2 years now. no difference.
also use 10w30. the first time a honda guy actually sold me something cheaper then that 20$ a quart honda MTF ----.

trannies for my car are so ------- cheap, I think I'm gonna try running Dexron III to see if it drags less at 'high' speeds... if it blows, ---- it. If I can't shift, whatever, 75w-90 it is
