doesnt the manual say to use standard 10w-40 motor oil? putting lube that heavy that wasnt meant for it is like using frozen crisco for butt sex.

J/K but in regard to all this tranny fluid talk, I always thought that you use regular motor oil (terd says 10/40 I used 10/30) in them old trannies (at least the 88-91 civic/crx trans)? I hope the people that are refering to trans fluid are rockin' hydrolic trannies (i think those use tranny fluid right? never owned a honda newer than a 91).
