Trance's project
I thought you guy's might like to see what I've been messing around with along with my turbo install. Havn't done much with the turbo install yet because I started with this and am not finished yet. BTW this is my 2000 Integra
http://www.newbieforces.com/files/ITR1 Don't mind the cluster ---- of a garage :) It's my only workspace right now. Baically I had to cut out the USDM radiator support, and weld in the JDM top radiator support for my new front end. http://www.newbieforces.com/files/ITR2 Another shot of the welded and primed support http://www.newbieforces.com/files/ITR3 Here she is all smiling purdy ;) I'm still waiting for the "brown truck to drop off my CF hood and fenders. These parts were a bitch to find. http://www.newbieforces.com/files/ITR4And last but not least the facial shot :) After the rest of my front end pieces get here, I can start mounting my intercooler to fit the JDM rebar. Hope you like it. I'm open to suggestions as to what color to paint it once it's all done. As of right now it's between the evil flat black or blue. |
Re:Trance's project
what shade of blue. like a dark blue, electron blue, powder puff blue or one of the more glittery blues. (i personally really like si blue)

Re:Trance's project
A light blue. Like the BMW M3 "Laguna Seca" blue. My interior is Tan/ light tan so I was trying to match the colors up you know? Si blue is an option also.

Re:Trance's project

Got alot of work ahead of me. This took me about a day to do. But I still have the rest of the body to prep and fix any problems before paint.

Re:Trance's project
I don't mean to be negative, but I like the other front end better. :( Nice work though. You're a crazy mo fo for cutting up a 00' Teg like that. :o I don't have a problem cutting up my 15 year old shitbox, but I'd be scared to hack on a 00' Teg. :-\
Did you take before and after shots of everthing? __________________ Best Car Insurance | Auto Protection Today | FREE Trade-In Quote |
Re:Trance's project
Sure did take snapshots of both. I know it could have been a costly repair if I made a wrong cut or damaged something in the process. But where would I be if I were still scared to dig into it? Sometimes you gotta just go for things.
