Default Trance's Homemadepaintjob

Aaaah, home sweet homemadeturbo I think ever since I've been an HMT member my car's been in primer... Thats been quite a while! Well, I got tired of it and really wanted to bring some color to it and decided to do a backyard paintjob and take a few progress pictures along the way. But, I didn't want to go with the factory color again. Hope you guy's enjoy, and if any NE crew HMT people see me around feel free to try and catch up or say hello, haha.

Most of you remember my car like this, the imfamous Primer DC:

A complete color change required me to do all the door jambs, insides of the doors, trunk and even the engine bay.

I got a little 2 tone madness going on. Everything here was done by eye, no tape measure for me h

Next came my base color for the bottom half. I don't think you guy's would believe me if I told you I painted this in my back yard. Oh wait, yes you would... check out the grass and awesome spray booth setup haha.

Yes I do have experience. I work for a bodyshop but I mainly spray the Single stage urethanes. This was my first Base/Clear job I used RM/Diamont paints and clear for this one.

Wow! I always thought your car was white. Nice job! I really like the color. You have my permission to paint my cars whenever you would like.

That's pimptastic. The soapy wheels pick almost makes them look cholo chrome, but the last pictures convinced me you're not . The colors are real nice. All you need to do now is black out the windows and put a tail number on it.

Yeah thats actually all the wetsanding dust stuck to the wheels, stuff makes quite a mess on the windows too. This is the same car you went for a ride in Stealth remember "I'll brush ya fu@kin' knee's son"
