Daniel Trimnal did a bone stock LS swap into a gutted 90 DX hatch and was raping STI and Evo off the line with half bald 175/70R13 ---- tires. They aren't particularly fast cars. A D16 with 10 psi on a run of the mill HMT setup, and a little attention to the suspension so that you can lay down a modest power gain in 1st and 2nd, is all that is needed to absolutely flay an Evo alive.
