Buy this auction for 185 cds at $214, and ship it to them, you save $200 on a 60GB iPod.

Of course, if you have 185 cds that meet the standards, and you can sell them for $3 each, thats $555 you have to spend on an iPod.

Even at full retail of $399, you would still have $155 left over...

Ripoff, they will make mad money for sure. If they then sell the CDs at $5 each, they make $925 (minus wholesale price of an iPod that they sent you).

They should promote whomever thought up that promotion!

I don't think its a total ripoff. Over the years my wife and i have collected Cd's we have come across alot of doubles and stuff. We tried to go get rid of about 200 Cd's with full cases and things and they only took about 50 of them. they are very picky bastards. if you want a cool ipod it would be really worth it.Most people have burners now and can just copy the cd then sell all your old ones.

As i am typing this i am downloading the longest yard/south park shows and some family guy shows to my ipod right now. ditch the cd's you can and get a ipod just download what cd's you have to your harddrive before you give up the cd's.

thats just to bad, I cant take advantage of that since I keep my cd's in a binder (a little over 250) none of which I listen any more. cause Im to cheap to buy new ones, when you can DL for free..
