Well finally ran the coupe. On some small slicks at 5500 launch rev, and that was not cool. I was too lazy to redo it. I had to tune a car down there and was setting launch rev limits on other peoples car instead of mine.. go figure. But I ran 13.8 @ 102 with a 2.2 60' My slicks were only 20" and I spun them pretty good. Here is a vid of me and a type R hatch on street tires, we pulled the exact same 60' he has traction bars and LSD, of course. I had him until I hit rev limit at the top of third, then he got me by .04. Oh well it was lots of fun. Here is a little vid.

Get some traction and you should be able to get low 13's no problem... Go D16 Coupe!

I am shooting for 12's just like you :P

But need some bigger slicks and my new setup, going away from the home-made stuff. BMC race manifold, super 16G, instead of just plain 16G, going with 2.5" DP instead of 2" and getting rid of my 2" intercooler piping. Car is fully tuned at 8lbs, made 190Hp and 170 Tq. So with the new setup, looking for whatever I get at 10psi, and then going to take it back to the track with some bigger slicks.

But that run was on like 8.5 psi. I have a leak pre turbo, so that kills spool. In that video, I hit rev limit at the top of thrid and that is where I got beat.

Nice vid/run.

The best part of it is the begining. I went there for a neon thing in 2003. My first time racing. Rolling back at the start was so messed up.
I see you still do that at Beaver Springs. lol
