tprc needs help ++update++

I'm about ready to burn this ------- thing :7

what are specs on a stock 1991 honda civic fuel pump in lph? I stuck a 255lph hp inline in this thing and no matter what I try I cant get proper fuel pressure. Funny thing is is it acually runs good at 80psi :P

I'm going to put a smaller pump in it now after wasting much money on trying to make the 255 work >:(

You need a big outlet fuel pressure regulator like I told you, Holmesroller. 94+ LS, perfect choice.

If that doesn't work, drill a tiny hole in the FPR itself. Post pics of one, I'll mspaint where to drill.

Edit: you tried all that? Try running a larger return line, maybe the stocker is too small?

I listened it just didn't work. I even tryed my type r reg off my eg. I drilled out my one so big it takes some real cranking to get it to start, still ---- all. I pulled the line off the reg today and ran a return into a jerry can, that fuel pump puts out like a 3.00 dollar -----. I would swear its much bigger then 255 :-\

For whats its worth JD every stock honda regulator I took apart wether it had the big return line or small, d series, b series F series all had the same sized orfice on the inside.

time for an external regulator and possibly a bigger return line.

I made 636 whp Saturday on a Walbro 255 with stock regulator and fuel lines. I KNOW a stock regulator works. Can you think of anything you might have done that would have caused blockage, etc?

Re: tprc needs help

pulled the line off and ran it strait into a can, still no dice, maybe a external 255high pressure puts out more??? Maybe sumping it removed some restrictions in the feed line? I dont know, but theres one bad ass stream coming out the return.
