Towing a Civic

I want to build, or buy the necessary items to tow my 91 Civic back and forth when needed. I just never did this before. Has any of you nogs done this.
I have the tow hooks on my traction bar, and my friend has a Dodge P/U with the tow ball.
I am not going to use rope.
I was looking at this.

But Im not sure if this is needed.

i have the harbor freight one.
there are brackets that you can mount to the bumper. not the plastic one but the real bumper.
i took off the bumper cover and mounted the brackets to the bumper then towed my civic all over.
if you have air bags in your car make sure you disable them before towing the way i said. i disconnected my battery. if you don't they will deploy.
the best part is the bumper cover will fit back over the brackets so you don't have to remove them after you tow.

i tried to find a pic of my set up, but i used the harbor freight one.
the circled things are what mounts to the metal bumper

So do the brackets that mount to the bumper come with the tow bar?

yeah
i just updated my post with the pic.
it's a little of a pain in the ass to mount the brackets, but if you are patient it doesn't take long.

you will need a way to drill through the metal bumper. i used these

it took me about 2.5 hours to do everything, but i was taking my time.

Bullshit. Even if you lock up the brakes on the tow vehicle, you aren't going to trigger the arming switch AND an impact switch. It takes a hell of an impact to do that.
