See this made since becasue the poster used english. Drifto dude you spit out some partial sentences ther and I couldnt tell what the hell you were talking about. you made it seem like you needed to pull it regardless.

I thought it was just a rule that you always towed with the drive wheels.

Hopefully I can unbolt the driveshaft at the rear end and tie it p out of the way without pull the yoke out of the transmission so I don't have to deal with the fuild leaking out.

On those cars the u-joint in back is bolted in with these 12point 12mm bolts that are usually rusted and cant really be had with a socket. Have fun.

I wouldn't mind putting it on a trailer, but the dam uhaul trailers dont' have electric brakes, My truck is a 99 silverado and pulls fine, but the breaking is the shaky part...i would like to find a rental place with a trailer with electric brakes, the surge brakes on those trailers are weak. The tow dolly weighs a fair share less than the trailer which makes me feel better.

Amen, you will need a 12mm 12 point like mentioned above boxed in wrench. I would take a couple and no chinese drop forged crap either. You will also need a 2 pound hammer. And it would not hurt to pray somebody in the recent past has had them off already.
I'd just pull it backwards. Make sure the steering wheel locks and then tie a rope to the steering wheel and shut the door on the other end.

But I always wondered what all those rich old people driving the huge rv's do when they are flat pulling there little jeeps or rav4 across the country?

They don't have electric brakes, but I am pretty sure the U-haul car trailers have inertia brakes. When the trailer pushes on the tongue of the trailer it applies the brakes. Not as nice as electric if the trailer starts to shimmy, but stil gets the job done....if they are working correctly.
