GN's ------- rule. What times you get that brick down to?
84 and 85 are hot air cars, the 86 and 87 are intercooled and have a better turbo, fuelsystem, ECU, etc. from the factory

As far as times I am not sure now, last time I ran the car it was just a baisc bolt on car. Now it has so much more. It is down now but it should be done in a matter of weeks, I expect it to turn mid 10's at about 130 on AV fuel and with alcohol assiting that. I also think with milder timing and on pump gas with alchohol injection helping out and about 20 psi a high 10 wont be out of the question.

I just read an article today in this months Hot Rod about some aftermarket company producing 'OEM spec' blocks for the Buick GN that were capable of withstanding 2-3000 HP... have you heard anything about this?

BTW, do you know where to go for a rebuilt factory GN turbo and intercooler? Mines an 84, and I'm pretty sure the turbos shot (sounds like a slide whistle every time I start it up).

Well as far as those block, they are from TA preformance. Also they are not released yet, lots of waiting for this item. I have many doubts on it and if it will ever come out.

And as far as the parts you need, you wont need an intercooler, I would recomend adding one though as the 84 and 85 are factory hot air cars.

Go to http://www.gnttype.org/ for lots of tech info and some preformance recipes for your car.

And the most informative message board and the best place to get used Turbo Buick parts is at http://www.turbobuick.com/ I sell stuff there sometimes (usualy, parts I sell are for the 86 and 87 cars though)
