yah really can't beat a seedbox with a 1gbps connection and private torrent trackers. Downloaded at 4000+ kbps.

Doug asked me what it was.

I mainly trust mininova and piratebay. The rest of them are basically search engines that want me to sign up, or pay. Two things I'm not fond of.

Um, sure. I've got over 1000 of them at any given time. The best way to make sure ---- gets done is to paypal a penny to StealthmodePerformance@yahoo.com and put in the notes how many stickers you want. I'd tell you I'd remember to send them to you, but in actuality my wife does all the shipping, and it's based off of paypal payments. Do that, and they'll get there.

movies - www.x264.me
everything else - www.what.cd

I got a call from my ISP after downloading Dead Space for XBOX 360 from a public tracker. They'll ban us from having their service with any more complaints from anti-piracy groups, and living out in the country we'd only have DSL which SUCKS *** out here. I can get up to 2000 kB/s down and 300 kB/s up with our cable service. With DSL it was around 200 kB/s down and 30 kB/s up Oh, for the same price.

www.btjunkie.org is another torrent "search engine," but unless I HAVE to (which I haven't yet), I'll stick to limited membership private communities where you ALWAYS get killer speeds because you must keep a ratio to remain a member, and you don't have to deal with hit-and-run folks like on public trackers.

Torrentspy used to be good...haven't used them in years, but last I saw they wouldn't allow access from USA, and their selection sucked. Demonoid is "private" but basically public due to it being so damn easy to get invited, barely a step above public trackers. Then you have thepiratebay, mininova, and many more.

uTorrent is by far the best bittorrent client for Windows. Mine stays running for weeks with around 400+ torrents seeding at a time. Never has crashed.
