Re: torrent files

Most people have an upload speed of 25-35k, and it's shared out among a couple different torrents. Unless someone with real bandwidth is seeding a torrent you generally have to wait a day or three. *shrug*

I got nothing off Limeworthless except incomplete files and mislabelled or low quality ----.

Re: torrent files

I use Azureus and get torrents from either http://www.torrentspy.com or http://thepiratebay.org. It usually takes a while for the seeds to get going, but once they do, I can files over 200k easily. If you're sitting behind a firewall, you might want to check you have the correct ports forwarded for the best seeding and download speeds. Azureus has a built in tester to ensure you have the right ports open.

Re: torrent files

I downloaded some albums this morning. I picked and choosed from the top billboard 200 and in the end I had about 30 -40 albums qued up at about 7:00 a.m.

They are all done now but 3 of them and I am using Bitcomet through a high speed. Something must be jacked up on your PC there homie.

Do a speed test on your connection and make sure your are gettin what your supposed to and then try to set all of your tweaks back to normal (any ports you may have messed with or something like that). I always try to undo what ever I last did if my ---- fucks up.

Re: torrent files

You could always put your computer into the DMZ and see if you can download any faster that way. Also, do you have any software firewalls turned on (Windows, Black Ice, Zone Alarm, Norton)? If you do, try turning those off as well. On last thing, on the torrents you're trying to download, how many seeders are there?

Re: torrent files

i have kerio firewall turned off and avg antivirus turned off as well, o yea windows ones is off, ive done a connection test and all was good, there are only a few seeders, i dont know how that ---- works, ive downloaded dvd movies before and even though it took awhile they were fine, but pc games are another story, so slow let alone start to download.

Re: torrent files

Have you checked your max download rate? On some torrent downloaders, if you have your max upload capped low enough, it will affect your max download/connections and therefore cause long download times.

Are you using a router? i.e. are your ports forwarded?
