Default Took the rex to the track Thursday. Pics of slips added nignogs.

First run was aginst my friend with a built ls in an eg coupe. I ran a 9.5 @ 76mph. With like a .83x R/T. Second run was against a 5.0 mustang. R/t was better, but I missed second like 3 times and ended up with a 10.0 @ 78. Had a lot of wheel ho on that run. Last run of the night was against another crx with a b16 and a 60 shot actuated by the tps. I ran a 9.4 @ 79 on that run and he rana 9.7. I fucked my alignment up bad thursday at the track. Both front tires are sticking outward when I'm going straight. Making subtle turns on the interstate caused the front passenger tire to squeal.

This was the first time I have ever raced at a track. I dont think it was too bad. I need some traction bars though before I go back. what else do you guys suggest for my wheel ho issue? Should I put the hasport race mount inserts in my mounts instead of the ones they stick in them normally? If you guys want, I'll post the time slips for you.

Post the slips. IMO you should be trapping a LOT higher.

Wheel hop is the devil. Get some Energy Suspension of Prothane bushings for your LCAs, make sure your ball joints don't have any slop, and either drop the money on a set of radius rods or you can get decent results with $12 worth of Energy Suspension radius rod bushings.

The super stiff 80A durometer inserts are all well and good, and needed past a certain level, but I don't think you're at that level yet.

you tink es radius bushings would help? I guess I could try that before gettign a set of l-con traction bars or something. I'll post the slips in a bit....

They were a noticeable improvement for me, but I had a minor amount of slop elsewhere in the suspension and the wheelhop/damage ------ like wildfire. Every ball joint, both wheel bearings, and one of my hubs = destroyed.

This is at 7 psi, right?

Are you lifting off the gas pedal when shifting?

If you could drop those 60' to 2.0, you'd be a solid mid-high 8... but those trap speeds

First race was 7 psi. Other 2 were at 9-ish. yea, I Was lifting off the gas. I think next time I go, I'll do what you told me on tuning day. But this was my first itme ever, so I'll learn...

on the launch I would get some wheel hop and the wheels would spin a bit then grab and the rpm would just fall. it was gay. I was catchin up to that damn mustang though. I wish I didnt miss second. that was shitty. I think I missed it cuz I was raggin my buddy who missed second on his race. lol, Karma pwns me
