Took the kid quarter midget racing.
 

The local quarter midget racing league had a "drive it, you'll like it" day for kids ages 5-15. For $20 the kid got to go through a little class thing, and then run 7 laps in a glorified go kart. Here's the pics.

I was waiting for him to turn 8 so he could do jr drag racing, but it this starts at 5, and it's more racing for the time/money involved. They had some used cars for sale with everything for $2800 or so, but I'm sure the prices were jacked for the noob parents who were there. If they only knew that we were HMT, they'd probably bring out the flux cored chassis for us to take a look at.

thats awesome.....i wish more parents got their kids into racing at an early age....instead of...lets go to the local POS gokart track kind of ----....congrats

---- that looks fun, I wish there were more things like that around here for my kids. I think you should nig one of those bad boys together and beat all there ass's with the flux core and flat black like hmt is known for.

I found a site that said there was a club in Pomona, but their website wasn't working. I don't know if that means they all ditched racing for lowrider bikes or what. :8
