Time is running out, ACT NOW! HMT Sticker!

I bought Sinister's turbo setup, got injectors and slim fans from Quadnie, a wideband and datalogger from xenocron, traction bars from 88dx, and of course...the great niknak from complex...

All I need is a feed line and fittings, and a t3 wastegate actuator...who has one they can spare?

I have ergot poisoning and my limbs are rotting off. I would like to feel boost next weekend before I can't shift with my robotic arm anymore.

Huntsville Alabama, yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeehawwww

send me a sticker to reprezents wit, i gots day paypal cash yo

Contact stealthmode for the oil line. are you using a HF manifold? What turbo? Dont put a T3 WGacuater on a T3/HF manifold set-up. it wont fit.

Yes, I'm using an hf manifold :( So what should I use?

And yes I'm in Huntsville, AL. Sorry, figured that would be figured out when the time came, since an actuator and oil line wouldn't be too much to shitp.

hurrrryyy with some tips/suggestions please.

Want to turbo next weekend, have EVERYTHING except a wastegate actuator. Someone told me I have to modify the regular t3 actuator to work on the manifold and that there's a link here somewhere. Being that search doesn't work and google is a piece of ---- to search here with...can someone help me out?

Yeaahhhh

Thanks for answering

Re: Time is running out, ACT NOW!

you have to extend the wastegate arm and mount in where the ac bracket normally goes. others have used carb springs, and cut them for more tension.

Re: Time is running out, ACT NOW!

or get a t25 wg

SkunT 03-30-2007 11:03 AM

Re: Time is running out, ACT NOW!

look at 'old turbo' in my sig to see how I made my t3 WG work.

Re: Time is running out, ACT NOW!

Awesome, very helpful you two. Especially your "old turbo" link jr, nice to see what the hell people are talking about. Guess I'll order that one off egay. Don't remember what you used for the oiil return? Damn too bad I bought a steel braided one...Quadnie said to use brake lines i think because it's a tight fit, I guess since it isn't high pressure I can use rubber hose if I have to.

Oh ----, I need a HMT sticker so I can represent as well...

Thanks folks. Look forward to a "build" thread next weekend :D

Re: Time is running out, ACT NOW!

go to napa, take your fittings and find some fuel line. and make sure you get the t25wg

Jorsher 03-30-2007 11:20 AM

Re: Time is running out, ACT NOW!

Hm not seeing any good prices on a t25 actuator...couldn't I rig up any actuator to work since they work about the same? I found a 300ZX turbo one and a srt4 actuator for cheap... Not trying to question you just seeing what other options I have

You might be able to get an actuator off an Eclipse to fit... long-ish arm on some of those, small dashpot... much smaller than anything T3 I've seen.

Doc Boost has HMT stickers. If he really sends me a butt ton of them I can forward a couple to a guy with ergot poisoning. :)

Scottsi mentioned he had a actuator somewhere :6 HMT has helped me out a bit, I would have surely died by time I got boosted if I had to find this ---- on my own.

C'mon doc, send a butt ton :P What paypal address do we donate to anyway? I wanna predonate so whatever year the stickers arrive, I'll be ready. Hopefully before the worlds gasoline supply diminishes.

the acuater housing is too big. thats the problem. the big round thing with the spring inside.

Re: Time is running out, ACT NOW! HMT Sticker!

I have a T3 internal gate and it's 5-bolt housing. Are you guys saying it'll hit the block because the head of it's too big? Mine worked. Depends on the mani and turbo.

you still need ur sticker son? send jeff some loot thru paypal, then send me a PM

Re: Time is running out, ACT NOW! HMT Sticker!

Dunno if you guys (other than JYR) are aware, it's a t3 on an hf manifold. I know you can't just bolt the t3 actuator on and go, but JYR you linked me to your turbo setup (old turbo in your sig) and it shows you using a t3 actuator so that's what has me confused.

I tried to find a pic, but its off by about 1/8th of an inch. I used a T3, with a HF manifold and it would not fit. We had to grind the block, which in turn led to
a ------- hole in my block which I patched with JB weld, and the god dam thing still didnt fit. I'm telling you, on a t3/HF manifold set-up, do not run a T3 wg acuater. RUN A T25!!! A bunch of people told me as well "it fits just fine...dont worry about it"....while I couldnt for the life of me get the fucker to 'fit just fine'.

[/JYR advice]

Haha sounds like a good case to me not to use it. To all if you that say the t3 will be fine, what evidence do YOU have.

What about some sort of dual bend modification or something to make it fit somewhere and still be able to pull the actuator?

Re: Time is running out, ACT NOW! HMT Sticker!

i didn't read the part about the hf manifold, so i guess i really have no say in this honda-specific disagreement...
