fabbing up a new manifold, dp and charge piping and exhaust would be truly homemade. and its not homemade unless you JB weld your bov on there

the only way i can do something new is because i have a friend with a del sol vtec, that we are turbocharging... again (stupid 'tuner')

I am looking at something slightly used, I have looked at many different cars and I have saved up money from working at my co-op, it will be 'new' for me but not like 2005-2006 new.. I am not rich and since I am paying for this myself.

i would never buy a brand new car. once you take it off the lot it loses its value

A majority of the kits on HMT aren't homemade. They buy a manifold, buy an oil line kit, buy pre-chipped ECU's running BBKA map , buy a chargepipe kit and say its all homemade. There are a very few people on this site who have actually built a whole turbo kit from welding the manifold together to chipping their own ECU's. As parts are becomming cheaper creativity just isn't there and thats why all turbo Hondas kits are looking the same.

Get the EVO, sell me the turbo and make your own kit for it.

You should pick up an older Evo 6, I think they are much nicer than the new ones.
