Tiging skills, MIke modified Starion IC!
 
As you may know or not know, i am taking a welding class. Anyway, the teacher was cool enough to let me work on MIkes IC so here are the pics of the mock up and the after pics! enjoy!

all in all it was a good learing experience and this is only after like 16 hours practicing before on previous saturday classes... i was happy with the outcome!

oh and steve, its been pressure tested..i blew air in it and it didnt fall apart :P

it holds boost........thats all that matters right? what kind of tig are you using?

good work! aluminum isn't very easy to weld. it is completely different than ms or ss. i've always wanted to try titanium and magnesium myself.

yes they are, rigerously tested in the meth lab in my garage!

i'm not exactly sure, i'm led to believe that it is similar to aluminum but takes even more heat.

aluminum takes about 1200 degress to penetrate...SS is about 3600 i think,.

it usually takes me 70 degrees 2 lagers and a splif to penatrate* if shes ugly*
