thrush muffler?
 

anyone use the thrush mufflers from autozone? Im wanting to go with this "sleeper" look and the magnaflow ones were what I was looking at but I dont need the stainless BS. anyone use the thrush? what do they sound like?

Cherry Bomb Turbo Muffler are pretty slim and stock looking and sounded nice and sick on my n/a Crx with 2.25" pipes, was like $35

I was thinking about one of those to with a turn down out the back.

anyone have any experiences with the regular mufflers? not the glaspac cherry bomb mufflers?

you can get the maganflows in non stainless just aluminized, I have a buddy with two extras off of his mustang, he's selling me one for my truck for $15 I'm sure he'd sell the other one pretty cheap, only 3months worth of use on them he got a basani cat back and decided to ditch the magnaflows

I put a 2 inch raptor, which is built by thrush and is a regular turbo style, no cat, no turbo on my wagovan and it sounds like ass. 3000+ it sounds like a tin can, not laud but gay non the less.

i have used them in bov 2.5 and 3" on my teg and civic. work and sounds great boosted. NA are kinda gay sounding. but for 20 bux cant beat it

haha, I had a thrush muffler on my first car, the beloved 88 ford tempo. lol. If that's any kind of comparison car, it sounded like any other dynomax, magnaflow, ect.....

The integra I just got rid of was open downpipe, and then I put two 30 inch cherry bombs on it and that was it and it wasn't any louder than a civic with bigger pipes/exhaust.

That's my opinion. :P

I used a thrush cherry bomb for a resonator on my civic. Helped out quite a bit

the thrush glasspack is much better than cherry bomb... it is equal diametor all the way through, cherry bombs choke down small as ---- inside.
