I'm not too familiar with carbs. Do you spray the 125 shot down the carb throats, or does it need to be tapped into the manifold runners?

Re: Throwback Induction

Pretty sure you can do it both ways...

Re: Throwback Induction

It doesn't matter really. V8 guys that want a stealthy install put in a kind of nitrous kit that's built into a carb spacer (2 for 1 deal) but you can still just put a fogger in the intake tube.

So chris, how much did you pay for those super JDM carbs... and how much would a schmuck like me have to pay for you to snag a set, considering you have sweet JDM acquisition skills?

Weber carbs are pricey. New they run around 1000 for a set. I got these for a couple hundred has one needs a rebuild nothing serious.

Not a bad price honestly. Performance VW bug carbs run $1500 a piece, and they're everywhere.

A manifold is pretty simple to build for them has well and numerous people who sell the weber side flanges. In reality Ill have around 500 bucks in them when all is said and done and running

My buddy had a ls/vtec and a staright ls with carbs in a 1985 crx,I loved that car weber carbs screaming at 9000 mucho hard on. These carbs will be also in a 1st gen crx.

sorry newbie.

The V8 guys hide everything but the bottle UNDER the intake manifold and plumb the lines thru the heater hoses. You can fit a 10 lb bottle under the dash of a Nova.

I'm pretty sure this a JDism taking a hit at the carbs and NA needing a 125 shot to make any power, not an actual question about where the nitrous is sprayed.

I tuned an 82mm 11.5 cr LS with Crower 404s this morning. It idled smooth with no lump at 1000 rpms, and felt great WOT - better than most turbo D's in heavy chassis like Del Slo. When it gets dyno'd next month he's spraying a 100 shot on it. Stock sleeve, too.
