Re:Thinking of using Eagle rods?

I hear ya Sem. I want to do a winter build on my LS and was considering one of those ebay engine kits with Eagle H beams and Weisco pistons etc. Seems reasonable .

Re:Thinking of using Eagle rods?

where do you see the wiseco pistons??
On ebay they only have shitty SRP, but it's better then stock cast though.
I want a LS :(

I don't see them ATM, but I've seen them before. Also seen Ross racing pistons and JE's.

Re:Thinking of using Eagle rods?

hmmm nice...but I'll need new bearings to.....I'll just measure the bore and give it a mexican hone.
I don't really give a damn about the engine...it should have good compression and take the 25 psi that I will throw at it with my T3/T4E 57 trim.

Re:Thinking of using Eagle rods?

haha, dude, I've seen those little ebay kits coming with new bearings as well. Most with new rings and wrist pins too. Thats also the same turbo I've been running. Sweet turbo. :D

Re:Thinking of using Eagle rods?

how is a dropped valve going to ---- up a rod? I bet a stock rod would look about as good.
