I bought a 86 with alittel rear end damage for $900 last spring and the thing is awsome everything mechainally sound and acouple extra add ons. So I think 2500 is alittle much.

I would say $900 tops.
Most cars in that particularl segment from that time period are not worth $3500 at this point if they're @ 100%.

Only a true idiot would pay more than $1000 for it.

damn 2500 for a 89 3 series with 230k and body damage. let me guess you took it for what he was asking too?
