I like how people keep saying a 600 is slow, most people that say this don't even ride, Most run 10's stock, you should'nt be pushing a 600 to its limits on the street anyways

lots of 600 streetbikes are very slow. all the new race bred sport bikes are very fast... the older 600 sport bikes are very slow...
i say buy the bike, tear it apart with a sawzaw and build a three wheeler
