thieves again

quick question, my buddy has a stock 94 automatic civic. his car got broken into last night and the only thing they took was the stock ECU. What is the significance of a stock ECU. Where can we get another one? Thanks for your help

they might of needed a OBD-1 ecu to do some sort of chipping or something, OR they might of we just needed it cuz thay has another auto civic needing an ECU.

they might have wanted to steal the whole car but whan they got inside and realized it was a gay *** auto they just decided to ---- you for being dumb enuff to by it in the first place
