If your insurance is covering it, you can come out ahead. I'm sure they think car ecus are really expensive.

A guy up here had one. Piece of ---- late 80's hatchback.. Everytime he changed gears the car would rock back and forth because the suspension was worn out. When he did a burnout to heat the tires, the brakes were too small to stop the car before passing the staging box. It looked like a POS but it ran 12's.

Vince

I'll translate:
it sucks to hear that, i sympathize with you. Also, the police don't do anything. My trick is to take the ecu with me when I park the car. If they want the car, it'll won't start. Something something bring out books, big box, but it makes a good subject of conversation with the girls.. I have a socketed p28 that you can use for a month if it'll help.

My french sucks

You are almost perfect stan!

And i guess we should let this thread die for now, because
i think its called an appraiser? he came and took note of everything wrong

the ecu,
sound system,
and my vafc... i just hope he will get me an avr-c instead hehe
But i'm going to have all my stuff back except my sunglasses...
And i think he told me if i was going to install this all myself
they will pay me 14$/hour LOL!!

He said he is going to ask a mechanic how much time it usually take and make me a check!

And in a month or two i'm going to invest in some 2way alarm system, because a kill switch is not enough for me since then
