They actually found him a threat and a false prophet. In reality at the time of Jesus was an era of many men who felt they were the messiah. Many had large followings like Jesus but until Christianity reached europe it was hardly the powerhouse it became. Jews far and few found Jesus to be nothing more than a man. In reality if anyone does follow the rules of Judaism and look at the prophecies the the Messiah of the Jews was suppose to bring the truth will show clearly Jesus hardly was or ever will be the savior of man.

In simple terms the Messiah was suppose to bring peace,------ the word of of The jews not attempt to destory it. The Messiah is suppose to not be worshiped has a God has Jesus was and is, he is to be the man to bring peace not create more wars than any other topic.The Christian view that to be with God one must go through Jesus a man is against anything that the old book ever spoke of. Noahide Laws or the seven laws of Noah clearly states that to follow these rules one does not have to be of Jewissh bloodline or a follower but they will be given the same life in death has a Jew,yet Christians know one must be a follower of Jesus to be given entry into the Christian heaven forbidden of any other religion or culture. These are just a few the list continues. I am not jewish even though my bloodline is really isnt hard to tell by my last name so Im not bashing or preaching just letting some facts out there.
