Back on TechTV, before it became bullshit G4, Kevin on the Screen Savers did a thermite segment. It was about hiding ---- from the Feds. More specifically burning your hard drive to hell. So he placed some thermite on a PC in his backyard and ignited it. Smoked out his neighbors though. Quite funny. Also the Anarchist's Cookbook tell's you have to make this stuff, or a ghetto method at least.

we used it once in a chem class thing. Just a demo. The prof put a bucket of sand under it to stop it, well it didn't.

You can make it at home though.

I remeber reading how to make it in a handbook, it is like you need pure rust and pure aluminim, you make the pure rust bay getting a pickle jar and putting water and some salt in it, then get a dc converter cut the end off, wrap the wire around a nail, leave the nail in the water with the converter plugged in, and the nest day it will be full of rust, then you have to get pure aluminm and there was something else to, but it said you need a magnese thingy to lite it
