Unplug while playing it. Not to be condesending but I always thought it was a general rule of thumb never to play online with a pirated game. I do understand that dude above said as soon as its fired up period but I play Half life, GTA san andreas, Doom 3 and Scarface with no issues. just no multiplayer on any of them except GTA which has its own little servers and such.
