thanksgiving...what are your plans

Re:thanksgiving...what are your plans
My wife and I arent making the 800 mile trip home, so we are going to have a fairly traditional turkey dinner here with some friends who didnt travel home for the holiday. Since there is no family that means there is a lot more drinking, which is cool. We go pretty traidtional with the food, but we have to have at least 1 or 2 Italian dishes. The one thing I miss is the pepperoni. In my family they take the meatballs, sausage, and pepperoni, throw it in a big pot of sauce, and let it simmer for hours so all the oils from the different meats mix. God Damn I am going to miss that.

My wife is working (flight attendant) and is going to Anchorage Alaska. She wanted me and my son to go because she has a 25 hour layover where we could go eat at a resturant there, but I said funk dat. I'm not flying a million hours to a place colder than this.
