Thanks for the write-up Jeff
So its a nice labor day weekend. I figure I'll tear down my d16y8 project block and notch for pistons and drill and tap for my endyne posts (arriving tues.) I hop online to get the instructions from Jeff's write-up, and there's no mention of what size to drill and tap the holes!!!!! So I just wanted to give a fat shout out to Jeff for his informative write-up. :P

Re:Thanks for the write-up Jeff
are all the posts the same size and thread pitch? i'd wait until they get there just in case. it'd suck to ruin the block if they have different one's.

Re:Thanks for the write-up Jeff
let know how the d16y8 pinning goes. i wanna do to my 2000 y7 so i figure they are exactly the same block wise. let me know if that d16y8 vtec also has piston squirters ;D

there's no mention of what size to drill and tap the holes!!!!! Wouldnt that depend on the size of the posts that you get.Im pretty shure they come in different sizes. |
Re:Thanks for the write-up Jeff
well im assuming theres only one size because all i asked for were posts, all i did was take them to the parts store and ask for a tap

Re:Thanks for the write-up Jeff
Yes, notching for rods.lol. All I did was order the pins, too. No mention of different sizes. I'll post pics when I get this shindig finished. I'LL post the tap sizes when I get done. ;)
