Temporary fixes for a blown turbo?
Alright, I've got a 94 Volvo 850 turbo... The turbo is blown and leaking a bunch of oil. I'm planning on replacing the turbo but I can't get to that for about 2 weeks because I've got finals and all my tools are back at home. I can't just park the car because I need it to get me home.
So, are there any temp fixes besides JB weld to limp my turbo along and have it leak a little less oil? |

Some ppl just have a plate fabbed up that they can bolt to their exhaust housing and just remove the compressor assembly. I don't know if that would work with how your ---- is setup, but it works well for a setup like mine since the turbo is topmounted. I need to have one of these made up actually, for when I have to have mine rebuilt or replaced etc. etc....
