There pauter rods with arp bolts the kid had no idea what he had. :4.
The Pin dia is .748"
B.E. Bore is 1.890"
length is 5.394"
B E width is .892"
Weight is 500g

I run a d16a6 with 14b/hf manifold 450cc injectors 255 fuel pump and turboedit. My question is what pistons / Compression ratio should I go with. I do daily drive the car also.

if it was a complete head dist,mani etc I would almost say fair trade

only thing the head had was cam/valvetrain and vtec solinoid

Not a tremendous trade IMO. You have no clue what is up with the rods. Good luck with the build.

In the second pic the small end of the rod looks notched. WTF is that?

Thats what you call a great deal for the guy who got the Z6 head. It looks like it broke off where the oil hole is.

It's called foam.

If the machine shop says those rods are happy... good job. SOHC VTEC head/intake goes $100 all day long this neck of the woods.

I have those rods too you scored good on them. Those things are pricey brand new I say use them

I aGREE very pricey rods. I say you came out okay. But that notch is a little weird. Is it just one notched? In the first pic it looks like the 4th one may be notched, but you put it on that foam so it could be misleading. Take it to a machine shop and see if it all checks out. If it does, you def came out on top, if not, it's an ehhh transaction, but still good.

ok there numbered A1-A4. 3 and 4 have little holes in them and A-1 - 2 don't. I was woundering about it myself. The guy said the rods checked out and theres no bend/pits/scars on the rods. just the surface rust. Think i should call pauter on this or what. Need more pics?

in the first pic, the third from the left looks like it's got a gaping chunk missing :-X let's see some more pics, i think you may have been the one not knowing what was going on :1

Where are you guys seeing all the chips and crap. The rod in the second picture has a piece of the foam hanging over the small end, other than that I don't see what you people could be seeing .

Yes the 2nd pic is just where i have the rod pushed in a little to take the pic. Anyone sellin any 9:5:1 slugs?

haha this is freaking hilarious. the foam got in the way. oh man everyone was looking at those things triple checking, and its just the foam getting in the way. look again its a freaking illusion

I run them in my truck I had to notch the bottom of my cyl. wall easy to do with a carbide bit.
