How does everyone feel about the Tein Flex system for a 98 Civic. The flex one has that edfc ---- whatever its called to control the damper from inside the car. ?/??////?//

 

thats great , are you going to spend as much on tuning the suspension as you did on the actual components?
or do you figure because you paid 1200 or whatever for a suspension setup that it should be perfect all the time?

are you trying to have a performance setup or a "HEY LOOK AT MY ULTRA LOW SHOWCAR" setup?

I never seen or used them but some of my friends have there suspension kits and they say they are ------- awesome. By what i hear there a good company

 

i'm not mad because i'm broke, i'm mad because people are idiots, they think because they buy the most expensive piece of performance equiptment (yes, it is a REALLY nice setup, a little rough on the kidneys, but very nice for the track and auto-x.) that they are adding performance. just because you're buying some of the nicest coilovers doesn't mean they're going to have a positive affect on your performance, without properly corner weighting the car you're probably decreasing the performance more than anything.

that goes with anything tho-not just coil overs. any aftermarket part put on a car must be fine tuned for it to be of any benefit....i think hes just asking for an opinion on them...
