between filing unemployment and working part time construction, i'll make 29k this year if i keep both at the current rate. if i go fulltime construction i'm looking at 35k+

will make for a nice turbo setup :6 :6

The last Jamaican I worked with was well meaning but inept. I have little experience with them aside from that.

Go to Autozone and get Bilstein HDs for $99/pop aka the same price or a little cheaper than AGX, they are a cheaply rebuildable and revalvable "OE performance" unit that has the same valving and internals as their $300/per race shocks.

Worth every penny. Carnaval usually has more folks in our age group though. You can go in late april or early may before ---- gets crazy, and its still plenty warm in the bahamas. Significantly cheaper.

Move to the mountains of NC with shitty roads and live in my (i use the term loosely) road. Suddenly you realize what shocks REALLY do for your car.

Re: tax returns

You haven't heard of anyone using them because it's not anodized a gaudy color from JDMland, or a reputable made-in-china mediocre designed brand like Skank9 or Dumbni, with a useless dial that even if it works (again, KYBs does not except marginally for low movement damping) doesn't mean you get the damping you need.

Here's one of the few times HT has some ----------ing tech... and it's not HT, really, it's a hardcore asian kid from Cali. There might be five HT members who realize that these two threads have more tech in it than the entirety of the much-vaunted ITR Forum. It has DIY tech, it has comparos of the KYBs, it has tech and theory discussion:

The Bilstein HDs are going to be the same as the KYBs with respect to a lowered car - they are a stock body height unit not designed to be overly lowered. On that note, 2" drop is too much and can compromise handling. If you have to go that route see what deal you can get Bilstein Sportlines for as they are, again, the same rebuildable internals but in a shorter shock body meant for a lowered ride. Autozone is the best price by $30 I found on the HDs, and you don't have to pay shipping so that's a plus, you might hit them up for the Sportlines.
