If you refuse they get a court order(it takes them 5 minutes),they take your car to the inpound(it costs you $125 minimum a day).If your ---- is illigal(by C.A air reasearch or some ---- standars) they make you rip all the ---- that doesnt have a carb # off before you can go see a ref. and get the thing signed off.Oh yeah you have to smog it before the ref will sign it off.

They have been poppin' hoods in Va for about 2 years now but, we don't have the whole SMOG thing here. you don't have to pass any smog test so we can really use any thing that we want for exhaust, etc. but we do have a noise ordinance. you never see a huge V8 truck pulled over with fukin' straight pipes but I have seen many small cars pulled over for stuff as stupid as an exhaust tip! If you are caught in Va with a Nitrous tank in your car the take it and you can not get it back unless you BUY it back at the damn inpound auction. Most of us solved this problem by putting our nitrous tanks in fake speaker boxes and running the hose out of that through the carpet under the box. we also put dyna mat under our hoods to try to keep some of the other mods quiet. ;D
