Default task force in texas

hey i new but there is some trouble in texas with imports..... within dfw they are cracking down on stolen parts and popping hoods... so if youre in the Dfw area watch out they out to get us.....they take the cars if one thing does not match up so be careful about parts and have receipts by far.....

How do they catch you? if you get pulled over they can just check under your hood etc.? I'm not from Texas but still I'd like to know. It sucks that alot of guy's are gonna get busted for non street legal parts but it's also a good thing to keep the stolen parts and auto theft under control.

Same thing here in NYC. They have been popping hoods for years. I don't have any stolen parts on my car and never would intentionally buy or use them.

They are starting to pop hoods on Long Island now too.

Anyway, they have been doing this for the longest time in the city. They would shut down both ends of "the strip" and literally go down the line popping hoods. Needless to say many people went home in handcuffs and the rest left at like 9am.

They used to go all out with helicopters and the whole nine. A friend got arrested on a copter night and had to do a whole ---- load of community service for street racing.
