ok so yea at school (wyotech) all the kids there talk so much ---- on hmt i want to fight every one of them....there is a kid i live with that said that he can make a turbo kit better than hmt turbo style kits for half the price....i dont think thats possible.....and he also said his audi had a custom turbo kit becuase he upgraded his turbo drilled holes in his bov and made it externally waste gated......i dont think that classifies as "custom"......im sure you guys dont either.....and i told them that im gonna build my own turbo kit...and they said its gonna be junk becuase im gonna buy a manifold off of hotrex....so i told him its ------- metal how big of a difference can there be between a 700 dollar manifold with good welds with a ------- "slowboy racing" lable on it and a ------- manifold made outa the same metal with good welds with no lable.....anyway i dont wanna annoy you guys with babbling.... that ---- is coming outa kids that think vtec heads are terrible for boost.....they keep telling me i need to take my z6 head off b4 i turbo....but yea i just wanted to tell you guys becuase everyone else agrees with them and im sure u guys will be on my side.....

oh yea and also the kid with the d series that says his turbo kit is gonna be better than mine wants to buy an ssautocrap manifold and says they are like great and dont crack and you dont need to reiinforce them....

haha yea exactly.....i just dont have a computer up there so when i get home i have pent up anger and want to tell you guys.......sorry if i like hmt more than i should haha........

I've gotten into some arguments over HMT as well man. People telling me that kits are the only way to go.. that GReddy kits are the best things ever... and that piecing a turbo kit together yourself is stupid.

Let me remind you, these people are USUALLY driving J-body's.

haha yea seriously........i made the mistake of telling them about devcon and they said "but then you wouldnt have any coolant flow"....and i asssure you i didnt forget to tell them that you drill holes for coolant passages.....once again he said "i dont know why you would do that" as in i dont know why you would reinforce....and yea i got into the greddy argument...he was like "greddy turbos are the ----" and i told him that they suck and that i would never buy one" and of course they all tried to make me look stupid.....and they also called you guys stupid basicly....and i told them that 3/4 of the kids on hmt know more about turboing things than they ever will......and that putting a bigger turbo on an already turbo car is nothing impressive and they were like "it takes alot of work to replace turbo's" i think they just realized i was right and just started making ---- up....

yea, i argue quite a bit with ricers about HMT, its quite fun untill they know im getting mad and shut up.
