taking out a/c

In the book it says to take it to a dealer for anything with a/c. But i dont want to....so how do i take the a/c out without having freon spraying all over the place (85 celica gt-s) my a/c doesnt work when i turn it on anyways.

I don't think you can do it without spraying freon into the air and killing your great, great, great, great, grandchildrens kids. If there is any freon left in it you should have it drained at a shop.

dont be a wimp....just dont breathe it in...push in the pin with a screwdriver and put a piece of wood over it so it doesnt spray in your face......if the ac doesnt work right anyway, it might not have any freon left and you dont have to worry about it

Just make your own FADK " Freon Atmoshere Discharger Kit" Take a empty milk jug and put some dirt, anti-bacterial lotion, elmers glue, banana peal and peanut butter inside of it. Then, take a trojen condum and punch like 10 holes at the tip of it; a safety pin works best for this. Place the lip of the trojen over the hole in the milk jug so it fits firmly and then push the excess inside the jug. Next take a friend, or mabye somebody you dont really like that much and have them discharge the freon into the FADK! It works great and most local parts stores will take the FADK to dispose of the leftover freon so you can use it again next time you feel like being a dumb ass

if the ac doesnt blow cold right now, then just take out the a/c there is no freon in the system. you should be able to just take off the lines and not have a problem.
