Default t25.... thinking of upgrading to 14b or 16g

O, I have the t25, only had it on for like a week...at least up and running for a week , My friend that gave me the t25 just upgraded his talon to the 16g and has a 14b laying around...and I can have it if I want. :P Do you think it's going to give me a lot more hp? I was thinking that is close to the T3 size...is that true? The exhaust side of it is the same, I would just have to make a J pipe for the intercooler piping and all, but thats easy. If I do upgrade, I'll probably do it this winter, and also change over to überdata.

the 14b is only slightly larger then the T-25 and you'll have to change your chare piping. don't do it unless your gonna make a big step to a 16g or something like that.

mine is still pumping strong at 7100 that's on a Y8. I'm going to go up to a big t28 once I build a motor.

Well the definate advantage for the T25 is the very quick spool time.. works great for a lower boost application. If you're claiming that you're running out of breath in the high revs (which I'm kinda suprised) then upgrading to the 14b wouldn't be that bad of an idea. Is that bitch in good condition from your friend?

Yes, you can expect come nice extra power at full boost.

yeah the 14b isn't in bad condition, but the t25 I'm running with now is in MINT condition, so I hate to take it out when it has A lot of yrs left one it. well see, maybe this winter when my civic is parked I'll get bored and tear into it again.

t25 is really quick spooling turbo, but a 14b will spoll up ~450-1k later depending on application. I say don't do, go to a big 16G if anything.
